Well I hear that the storms here in France last week were well reported. It wasn’t that bad here in Briare as elsewhere in France but still it was quite severe. Here is a short video clip of it.
Today the storm has blown itself out and it’s a cold, a northerly wind is preventing the temperatures from rising. Being a Friday it’s market day in Briare and our ritual every Friday is to do much of our shopping for the week there. With the sun out there was a wonderful market atmosphere and we met Collette our French teacher. We all enjoyed a traditional vin Chaud or a mulled wine to you or me, from a stand in the market.
Now we need to get our copybooks together because we have our French lessons with Collette in an hour.
Talk again soon.
