Below we have some video of the aqueduct at Le Guétin over the Allier. We passed over this aqueduct in lovely sunshine and could see the beautiful Allier river in all it’s glory.
Earlier we had moored above a lock on the River Seine. The contrast from above is clear. Even thought the Seine is a wonderful sight, the hustle and bustle of commercial is ever present. This is first opening of this lock since the previous evening and the barges are all keen to get going.
The lock has just opened and the barges are spilling out.
