Episode #7 Nice bit of cruising through Rooskey and Tarmonbarry

In this episode we cruise through Rooskey and Tarmonbarry.

We are on our way to the town of Lanesborough on the northern tip of Lough Res. But first we need to negotiate the lifting span at Rooskey. Episode #6 Battlebridge to Carrick on Shannon

A cruise from Battlebridge to the town of Carrick on Shannon.

In this episode we cruise from Battlebridge on the north of the river Shannon and travel south to the town of Carrick on Shannon. In Carrick on Shannon we take a walk about the town in lovely sunshine and visit some of the sights including the tiny little church of Costello memorial chapel. Episode #5 from Lough Key to Battlebridge

We leave Lough Key after taking a spin about the lake and then cruise along the Boyle river to its junction with the river Shannon and we even cruise a wee bit of canal at Leitrim, before heading back up the river to Battlebridge. One lake, two rivers and a canal, all in one spin. We share the moorings at Leitrim with a small family of swans, just one little signet. I’ll bet they spoil him.  Cruising from Leitrim up a particularly pretty piece of river that I like really like.
